Have you heard? Hordes of dancing dykes, international lesbians, party queers, bois, butches, daddies, femmes and thems are descending upon Brighton for the legendary Lesbian Lives Conference. And we are throwing them a party!

It’s going to be a night of sapphic DJs, disco, art and performances! And the biggest lesbian party of the year! Are you coming?

DJ SHIELDS: Local institutions, and all round icon, Shields plays femme-fronted tracks, 80s/90s/00s notalgia, queered-up hip hop, electro, ballroom beats, new wave weirdness and just the right amount of POP! For a taste of what’s to come you can catch DJ Shields at some of Brighton’s most iconic and infamous nights – @churchofitalo @trashdance

B4B (AKA BANGERS FOR BREAKFAST)‘s sets are bought together for a deep love for anything that bangs, blending an eclectic mix of UK garage, UK bass, dancehall, jungle, and bootlegs of tunes by all of your favourite huns. They are co-founder of local DJ collective BBG – purveyors of excellent music by women and gender minorities! Bring your most serious bass face for this one, you’re going to need it!

Compèred by Brighton’s own glamour dyke – 50% fierceness, 50% ass, 100% electricity! It’s BILLIE GOLD! The funniest lesbian on the drag scene, the sexiest drag queen on the lesbian scene, Billie leaves her wet, sticky, and dirty mark wherever she performs. Expect to be guided through the night by equal doses of wit and smut, Traumfrau takes no responsibility for this act, watch at your own risk.

🖤 SYMONÉ – queer Guinness World Record, alternative circus performer, drag king, live artist, and theatre maker! Queer Guinness World Record, alternative circus performer, drag king, live artist, and theatre maker she bends and explores the expectations of how circus is perfomed!

DAD – Chuck the sudoku and the gender binary aside, here comes Dad! Fresh from a ramble over Ditchling Beacon, Brighton’s king of gore-tex is here to accidentally bump your funny bone. Armed with endless slices of toast and a double thumbs up for trans rights, the bank of Dad is here to pay for all his kids gender affirming surgery and therapy.

EMMA FRANKLAND – is a Brighton based writer, theatre maker and performer. Her work is often described as playfully destructive, and gloriously irreverent. Emma Frankland is the punk rock angel of your dreams and nightmares… The Stage. A ferocious cry for the safety of trans women – Brands don’t lead revolutions. People like Emma Frankland do.
